March 3 update

It's been a moment since I was on here last. I've written some stuff in the meantime but nothing I want to post yet. Got derailed kinda hard last week. It happens.

Been hitting the gym more. It's refreshing to go all in on cardio. Casual walks are nice but they don't get my heart going fast enough. Trying to get some strength training in as well, of course, but I have a lot of work to do on that front. I'm still feeling the effects of a pretty basic upper-body workout a couple of days ago. But I'm looking forward to building myself back up and hopefully recovery will not be as slow as it was.

Still trying to get things together to start looking for work. I just have not had the motivation to do so. And I haven't really figured out how to push myself to have that sort of motivation in the mornings. I think I need to just make a routine of it.

Trying to stay fresh at Tekken, but I haven't felt much like playing. I think it's fine to let it lapse a little bit, since I'm reasonably well-rounded and have a good idea of how to pick it back up. But I want to keep my fingers, reflexes, and instincts fresh. So I'm just trying to play a little bit every day.

Instead I've been playing some other stuff. The Steam "Next Fest" demos have been pretty fun. Mindwave is going to be a must-play for me when it launches. But I've also been playing stuff like Pâquerette and TTYD. Video games are pretty fun.
